Ward 9 (VIP–IPD), located on the ninth floor of Kasra Hospital, was inaugurated in May 2016. All VIP surgical and medical patients, as well as foreign nationals, are admitted to this ward.
The ward has a total capacity of 34 beds. Among them, 2 beds are allocated to suite rooms with special amenities, in addition to 6 private rooms and 13 double rooms.
For the comfort and convenience of IPD patients, nurses fluent in English and French are assigned to provide bedside care during hospitalization.
Furthermore, arrangements can be made for clergy members of religious minorities (such as priests, Zoroastrian mobeds, etc.) to attend to patients’ religious needs.
The physician in charge of this unit is Dr. Ganji.
